True North provides educational services; it does not operate or administer a government diversion program. The prosecutor, solicitor, court, probation officer, or program administrator determines eligibility, assignments, provider acceptance, and whether all conditions are complete.
Understanding Atlanta's diversion terminology
PTI-T: Pre-Trial Intervention for Traffic Offenses
PTI-T is an Atlanta traffic-diversion program. Eligibility and acceptance are determined by the City Solicitor or program administrator. Participants must follow their official agreement and compliance date.
CPTI: Criminal and City Ordinance Violations
CPTI serves qualifying criminal and city-ordinance cases. The City Solicitor determines eligibility, and official requirements may include fees, community service, and rehabilitative or educational classes.
True North does not enroll anyone into PTI-T or CPTI or determine eligibility. It may provide an assigned educational service only when the service, facilitator, format, and documentation meet the referral source's requirements.
How the requirement-review process works
- Send the written requirement. Provide only the relevant page of the agreement, order, probation instruction, or attorney referral.
- We identify the assignment. We review the program, length, format, deadline, reporting contact, and documentation instructions.
- Confirm acceptance when needed. If instructions are unclear, obtain written confirmation before paying or starting.
- Participate and complete the work. Follow attendance, conduct, workbook, assignment, and completion rules.
- Documentation is prepared. With authorization, applicable records may be sent to the designated referral source.

Available services
MRT — Moral Reconation Therapy®
Facilitator-led cognitive-behavioral programming focused on decision-making, moral reasoning, personal responsibility, and behavioral accountability. Participation may include workbook assignments, presentations, group engagement, and facilitator-reviewed progress.
Four-Hour Anger Management Education
An in-person class addressing triggers, warning signs, response patterns, communication, conflict management, responsibility, and a personal change plan.
If your written requirement says FVIP, family violence intervention, domestic violence intervention, batterer intervention, or a 24-week certified program, use an appropriately certified provider.
Common questions
Can True North get me accepted into diversion?
No. Eligibility and acceptance are determined by the prosecutor, solicitor, court, or official administrator.
Does completing a class guarantee dismissal?
No. A class may be one of several conditions. The government authority handling the case decides what happens next.
Will a virtual MRT class satisfy my requirement?
Only the referral source can decide. Confirm virtual participation when the written instructions do not specify a format.
